As a community-focused non-profit dedicated to neighbourhood revitalization, Rolling Horse offers affordable, family-friendly bike mechanic training for all skill levels.
Our Novice Bike Mechanic Course runs monthly over three consecutive evenings (6:30–8:00 p.m). In this hands-on course, you’ll learn the basics: tire and tube changes, brake adjustments, and gear tuning. Participants are encouraged to bring their own bike to work on, and all tools and supplies are provided.
Cost: $50 (tax included) — payable in advance to reserve your spot. Family discounts are available. If the course fee is a barrier, please let us know — we’re committed to keeping training accessible to everyone.
We also offer advanced courses on specialized topics such as wheel truing, bearing overhaul, gear and brake overhaul, and bike modifications.
If you’re interested or have questions, please reach out through our website or email us at info@rollinghorse.ca.
P.S you can get all this knowledge for free by volunteering!
