Rolling Horse Community Cycle is a non-profit bicycle shop offering full-service repairs and refurbished bike sales. We host a variety of community programs, including Mechanic Training, Youth Drop-Ins, Community Clinics, School Workshops, and more.
Rolling Horse is part of Next Door Social Space — a place where neighbours love neighbours. We serve alongside our sister initiative, Next Door Community Kitchen, and together, through bikes and food, we help restore dignity and build community in practical, relational ways.
We’re always accepting bike donations during open hours and have plenty of ways for you to get involved as a volunteer. Join us in making cycling safe, affordable, and accessible for everyone in our community.
Rolling Horse Community Cycle is powered by a vibrant team of volunteers who bring their bike-mechanic skills — and their willingness to learn — to serve our community. Whether you’re an experienced mechanic or just starting out, there’s a place for you to grow, contribute, and make a real impact.
Forestview Church supports Rolling Horse with staff leadership and coordination, and each summer we welcome additional team members through Federal Government student grants.
If you’d like to share your skills or learn new ones in a friendly, hands-on environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Payton Frappier was born and raised in Fergus Ontario, and left to attend business school at Laurentian University in Sudbury.
Shortly after beginning to date Kiara, his now wife, she suggested they attend church together. This was Payton’s first time ever attending a church service, but it changed the trajectory of his life; a short time later he would dedicate his life to the Lord through baptism.
After graduating from business school, Payton spent a few years working in marketing within the private sector. Through a season of prayer and fasting, Payton realized God was calling him to leave his secular career path and focus on building His kingdom. Payton was blessed with an opportunity at Forestview Church who was in search of a Social Enterprise Manager for Next Door Social Space.
Payton is married to Kiara and they have two beautiful sons, Ryker and Wilder. They are a very active family and are often found doing some form of recreational sports any given night of the week. Payton himself enjoys weight lifting, as well as martial arts, golf and hockey.
Mike is the Volunteer Assistant Manager at Rolling Horse. He is a lifelong cycling enthusiast and advocate. He has toured on bikes since age 12, and raced in triathlons and on mountain bikes. Mike brings a long history of business leadership to Rolling Horse, and believes the world would be a kinder, better place if everyone drove less and rode more.
Rolling Horse operates in large part because of the many volunteers who give their time, skills, and love to the bike shop and surrounding neighborhoods.
